I had a lovely night here where I enjoyed a refreshing morning coffee in the garden and an evening glass of wine by the cozy fire. There are beautiful spots to relax outside, making it perfect for unwinding after a long day. The only hiccup was the slow check-in process, but everything else was fantastic and memorable! 😊

The Double Room was cozy but felt a bit cramped. The size of the bed was on the smaller side. The decor was charming with some unique touches, but I would have appreciated a bit more space. It was clean and had some good amenities like a Nespresso machine, a nice perk.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious for half the amount quoted and the food was OUTSTANDING. Our room was good-sized and recently renovated with king size beds, appreciated having access to wake-up service. Location: the hotel was really close to the restaurant on the first night, Hindon, which-until the coming of the railways-was a popular stopping-point for the regular stagecoaches which ran between London and Devon/Cornwall and the pub on the grass.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I loved the unique historical character that really set this place apart! The cozy king-size bed in my spacious Twin Room. Plus, the locally sourced gourmet breakfast was the perfect way to start the day!
